Our 2024 Bonsai Show
Our show was held at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens at 2655 South Park Avenue, Buffalo, New York. It was held on June 1st & 2nd.
The first three tables in the show were in honor of our beloved Hank Miller, who past away this May. The trees on display were either made by Hank or from our members who either bought his trees or took workshops from him.
"The Peoples Choice Award" was won by Bob Maxwell for his Azalia Bonsai. Christine Wilkolaski Presented Bob his prize, a wired bonsai.
In our Sales Area, we again had an unusual display of beautiful bonsai trees made from wire! The artist is Geno Calabrese & his wife Gege from Bella Nome Wire Design.
Mary McKee also had her beautiful paintings for sale..
Henry Jarzab also had a sales table for his bonsai offerings from Venmo Bonsai.
We also had a table displaying Ikebana by David Williams.
In addition, we also had a table with charts & samples of what is required to engage in the art of Bonsai.
Scott Russo also conducted a bonsai demonstration for our guests.
